What a fantastic event to be a part of along with a heck of a lot of others from Staffordshire and across the UK in the impressive Catalyst Building at Staffordshire University.
This was a celebration of an amazing three years of success but importantly a strong and focussed view of future priorities with some key announcements: the establishment of a Staffordshire Film Office, an initiative to engage and showcase young people, international collaboration as Global Advisory Board partner with City Nation Place, a marketing front door for place and economic growth services, continued high profile presence at UKREiiF, a House of Commons Event in 2023 and considerable Ambassador activity.
However, We Are Staffordshire also went beyond celebration and looking to the future in exploring best practice and new thinking in a panel discussion ‘Place Marketing that stands the test of time’ which I was proud to chair. This produced some fantastic insight, thought provocation and challenge. Everyone went away inspired and buzzing so well done We Are Staffordshire team for a great event.
