We are absolutely delighted to announce that Therasa Garrod will be joining the team
Therasa has over two decades of experience shaping vibrant, resilient communities through Destination and Place Management. Her experience includes delivery of externally funded programmes to support the regeneration and growth of an area.
Therasa successfully established a place led approach in Bolsover, building relationships across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire; consistently championing collaboration, innovation, and community engagement to positively transform the behaviours and ambition within a place. Therasa has worked across the arts, culture, heritage and visitor economy sectors setting a coordinated strategic long-term ambition; embedding values and trust with strategic partners. Therasa established and reported to a high-profile Place Board with an ambitious and transformational place programme.
For the last two and a half years she has been the Tourism and Place Manager for Dragonfly Management which was set up to enable economic and community regeneration through direct commercial action and to return a shareholder dividend to Bolsover District Council.
Therasa is also coming to the end of a Senior Leader Apprenticeship Programme with Sheffield Hallam University.
We know that Therasa will be a fantastic addition to the team as it continues to grow given the ever increasing focus on all things place.
