Over the last 16 years we’ve learnt so much about the amazing places and people that make up the UK and we’ve only worked with a fraction of them.
We’re constantly blown away by the passion and enthusiasm that people have for their place and how they simply want to know how to make it better for everyone.
We’ve been really keen to help provide some inspiration, practical advice, insight, ideas and challenges for those working with places – whether in economic development, inward investment, regeneration, tourism, culture and so forth.
Creating a forward-looking story of what your place could be through the eyes of your stakeholders, widening place leadership and activating stakeholder collaboration are what every place should be looking to do and its fun! Whether it’s funding it, visualising and communicating it, galvanising stakeholders behind it or bringing culture to the fore we’ve got it all and it’s a content totally driven by what you told us you wanted to hear about.
So we called up some of our friends, and despite Covid and rail strikes, are putting on what we think is a unique (and totally free) best practice event in the totally amazing City of Culture, Coventry.
Adopting a ‘place led’ approach is still leading edge in place development and promotion, it means thinking and delivering differently and can be a bit scary so why not hear from people who are doing it, their successes and mistakes.
